In the new trailer for Veep, Vice President Selina Meyer debates if she should fire her entire staff.
Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) is preparing for a presidential run after discovering that the incumbent won’t be running for a second term. She meets up with a new campaign consultant (Diedrich Bader) who tells her that she might have to fire her entire staff, as noted by The Hollywood Reporter.
“And then what, I fire everyone?” asks Meyer. “Now what am I supposed to do?”
The trailer of the acclaimed HBO comedy from Armando Iannucci teases the future Meyer campaign The show is returning Anna Chlumsky, Reid Scott, Matt Walsh and Tony Hale as the dedicated staff of Meyer.
The third season of the show which brought Dreyfus her second straight Emmy, will debut on April 6.
