Uzo Aduba has been added as a series regular on the Netflix original series Orange Is The New Black, reports Indiewire.
The actress, who plays character ‘Crazy Eyes’ in the prison drama’s first season, has been made a series regular for the upcoming second season. The addition marks Aduba’s first TV series regular role.
The hit Netflix original series, created by Jenji Kohan, has been stacking its season two cast. In addition to Aduba, Danielle Brooks has also recently been promoted from her reoccurring role to a series regular. Veteran actress Lorraine Toussaint is also coming to the show with a new character named Vee, described as a street-tough inmate who used to run a drug business, using kids as runners.
Like the first season, the second season of Orange Is The New Black will release all thirteen of its one-hour episodes at the season’s launch. No release date for season two has been announced.
