According to Deadline, USA’s Suits has set a Nielsen viewing record and stayed in the top spot of the Nielsen streaming charts for the fourth week in a row. Suits has received 3.9 billion minutes viewed from the week of July 17 to 23 on Netflix and Peacock.
Suits debuted on June 23, 2011 on and stars Gabriel Macht (Because I Said So, Behind Enemy Lines), Patrick J. Adams (D.C’s Legends of Tomorrow, Old School), Meghan Markle (Remember Me, Horrible Bosses), Jacinda Barrett (Bloodline, Poseidon), Rick Hoffman (Billions, Battleship), Gina Torres (Firefly, Serenity), Abigail Spencer (Timeless, Grey’s Anatomy), Amanda Schull (12 Monkeys, The Recruit), Sarah Rafferty (The Devil Wears Prada, Chicago Med), Vanessa Ray (Pretty Little Liars, Blue Bloods), and Katherine Heigl (Firefly Lane, Grey’s Anatomy).
Bluey also broke a record of its own by earning 1.2 billion minutes viewed on Disney+, the first time that the series has received over a billion views. Bluey debuted on ABC Kids on October 1, 2018 and stars Dave McCormack (Being Venice, Garbage Days), Melanie Zanetti (Raven’s Hollow, Battle of the Damned), and Dan Brumm (Maya & Miguel, Gem Hunters Down Under).
Sweet Magnolias was the third and final series this week to received over 1 billion minutes viewed. The series garnered 1.2 billion viewing minutes on Netflix after the release of the third season on July 20. Sweet Magnolias premiered on Netflix on May 19 2020 and stars JoAnna Garcia Swisher (Freaks and Geeks, Reba), Brooke Elliott (What Women Want, Drop Dead Diva), and Justin Bruening (The Monster Project, The Monster Project).
The fourth spot on the list is NCIS with 741 million minutes viewed on Netflix and Paramount+. Behind NCIS is Grey’s Anatomy, which received 735 million minutes viewed.
In the 6th spot is The Lincoln Lawyer, which received 702 million minutes viewed on Netflix.
Number seven is Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan on Prime Video with 700 million minutes viewed.
Quarterback is in the eighth spot with 648 million viewing minutes on Netflix, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is number nine with 628 million minutes viewed on Netflix, and Cocomelon is in the tenth and final spot with 617 million minutes viewed on Netflix.
