Suits on USA Network will return yet again for 16 episodes.
USA Network is owned by NBCUniversal and will renew its drama, Suits, for a sixth season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series is produced by Universal Cable Productions and Aaron Korsh. Season five of the show earned 3.4 million viewers last week with 1.3 million adults from ages 18 to 49.
USA Network president Chris McCumber stated, “Suits has set the bar high in every way and continues to be a strong performer and marquee property for USA. From the incredible onscreen performances and brilliant writing to the aspirational lifestyle portrayed, we look forward to continuing to bring viewers into the world of Suits every week.”
Gabriel Macht is the star of the show. This drama continues as USA is exploring darker revenues for future projects.
“Suits has delivered a smart and sexy roller-coaster ride for five seasons. Aaron Korsh has some great surprises for the audience at the end of season five that should really set future seasons on an exciting new course,” commented Jeff Wachtel, chief content officer at NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment and UCP president.
