USA Network ‘Suits’ Star Sarah Rafferty Invites Co-Star Meghan Markle To Appear On Podcast

Suits main star Sarah Rafferty (My Life with the Walter Boys, Chicago Med) is inviting the entire cast of the series, including Meghan Markle (90210, Harry & Megan), who is now the Duchess of Sussex, to come as guests on the rewatch podcast of the show, Deadline reports. She currently hosts this podcast with another fellow Suits co-star, Patrick J. Adams (Plan B, NCIS). In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Rafferty explained she would love the entire cast to come on the show, stating, “Everybody’s invited, and everybody has been so supportive.”

“It’s amazing. I’ve just been texting one of our directors, Mike Smith (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Manifest),” Rafferty continued via Deadline. “Rachael Harris (Lucifer, Ghosts) had some comments on our Instagram Live this morning — cannot wait for Sheila Sazs to be introduced into the show. I can’t wait to talk to Max Beesley (The Gentlemen, Hijack) and all the British actors that we had.”

According to Deadline, the podcast began in September of this year, and it was created after the news that Suits had reached high viewership on Netflix during the Hollywood strikes. This made NBC give a series order for a spinoff named Suits L.A., starring Stephen Amell (Arrow, The Flash).

“We were on strike when we had that resurgence, and it was like, ‘What does this mean?’ You can’t really get your head around it,” Rafferty explained via Deadline. “Which is sort of one of the reasons why we followed through on the idea of a podcast because it’s an opportunity to kind of make meaning of what the show has meant to everybody involved and the viewers.”

According to Deadline, the series Suits focuses on the lives of lawyers at a famous firm in New York after a young student, Mike Ross, played by Adams, was hired by one of the most famous lawyers in that firm, Harvey Specter, played by Gabriel Macht (Pearson, The Good Shepherd) after Ross conned his way into the mentorship training because of his phenomenal photographic memory and bold personality.

All nine seasons of Suits are available to stream on Netflix. Suits L.A. is scheduled to be released in 2025 on NBC.
