As noted by Deadline, Sofia Rosinsky (Young Sheldon, The Other Side of the Door)and Zoe Lister-Jones (The Craft: Legacy, Friends with Better Lives) are being added to the cast of The Miniature Wife on Peacock. They will be series regulars on the series.
The upcoming series is based on the Manuel Gonzalez’s (The Miniature Wife: And Other Stories, The Regional Office is Under Attack!) short story, Steve Turner (Ash vs Devil Dead, Gilmore Girls) and Jennifer Ame (She’s Out of My League, Boardwalk Empire) are the creators, showrunners and executive producers. The two cast members will be working alongside Matthew Macfadyen (Pride & Prejudice, The Nutcracker and the Four Realms) and Elizabeth Banks (The Hunger Games, Spider-Man) who are executive producers as well.
The official synopsis of The Miniature Wife via IMDB is as follows: “A technological accident serves as a catalyst for Lindy and Les, a married couple, to re-evaluate their relationship’s power dynamics, leading to a dramatic showdown as they vie for control in their marriage.”
The director of the first two episodes is Greg Mottola (Keeping Up with the Joneses, Adventureland), as noted by Deadline. The executive producer team includes Ames, Banks, Macfadyen, Mottola, Turner and Michael Aguilar (What Happens in Vegas, Henry Poole Is Here), as well as Lindsey Springer (Scenes from a Marriage, The Morning Show) and Michael Ellenberg (Prometheus, Tell-Tale) for Media Res.
Deadline states that Rosinsky is represented by CEUSD, Yorn, Levine, Barnes and Vault Entertainment. She currently recurring her roles as Yeva in Death and Other Details, the Hulu muse trey drama. Other shows she played small roles in are Fast Layne, Paper Girls and Young Sheldon.
Lister-Jones is an actor, director, producer and writer. She created, directed and starred in Slip on the Roku channel. Smaller roles included her roles in New Girl, Delocate, Whitney and Life in Pieces.
