Toei Animation’s ‘One Piece’ Anime Dub Has Shared The First Clip For The Character Of Vegapunk

The One Piece anime is currently in the middle of releasing the rest of the Egghead Island arc. A new clip from the English One Piece dub was released on Tuesday morning for the character of Vegapunk, according to Comicbook.com reports. The news outlet shared that Kent Williams (Solo Leveling, Dragon Ball Z: Lord Slug) will be the voice actor who will bring this character to life for the English dub.

According to Comicbook.com, this clip is courtesy of IGN and is embedded in the tweet below. The clip shows a scene of Williams’ portrayal of the character Vegapunk, and his performance seems like a fantastic addition to the anime so far.

According to Comicbook.com, it seems like the crew that is behind the scenes of the One Piece dub is making sure to give their best work on the English dub for the Egghead Island arc, so fans are eager to see how it will come out. One Piece fans were given so many updates this month from Toei Animation and Crunchyroll at this year’s Anime Expo, including a clip from the new English dub. The dub seems to have caught up with the episodes broadcasted in Japan.

If anyone is interested in finding out more about One Piece, Comicbook.com has shared the anime’s official synopsis, available to read below:

“As a child, Monkey D. Luffy was inspired to become a pirate by listening to the tales of the buccaneer “Red-Haired” Shanks. But Luffy’s life changed when he accidentally ate the Gum-Gum Devil Fruit and gained the power to stretch like rubber…at the cost of never being able to swim again! Years later, still vowing to become the king of the pirates, Luffy sets out on his adventure…one guy alone in a rowboat, in search of the legendary One Piece, said to be the greatest treasure in the world…”

The One Piece anime is now streaming on Crunchyroll and Netflix.
