Timothy Simons from “Veep” Set to Star in Assisted-Suicide Comedy for HBO

The hilarious and ruggishly-handsome Timothy Simons from HBO’s star comedy series Veep is set to star and assist in the writing process for an upcoming project called Exit Plans for the premium cabler. The comedy is about a man who runs a business that provides an assisted-suicide serivice. Though that subject doesn’t seem to rile with laughter, the Veep series in that sort of connotated description doesn’t sound all that funny either, but it is.

Per HBO, Exit Plans takes place in 2019, where assisted suicide has been legalized, this Californian resident opens this small business to help people fade away into the unknown. In the midst of that, he is struggling to keep hold of his own crumbling life, seemingly touching upon the opportunists becoming victim to his own circumstances style of story, a sort of ironic satire of a man attempting to find reasons to live while ending the lives of others.

Simons is also set to executive produce with Graham of Field Trip Productions as Exit Plans is set to be the second HBO project working with a member of the Emmy-dominating Veep family. Series creator Armando has a pilot order for Avenue 5, a comedy series set in space with Hugh Laurie starring. The beloved series is set to air for its seventh and final season in 2019.
