The fate of Hell’s Kitchen in the approaching third season of Daredevil: Born Again has received major update by the none other than Kingpin, played by Vincent D’Onforio (Echo, Hawkeye). According to Screenrant, the upcoming story will involve a timeskip, in which will take in the future from the previous events of the prior seasion finale, in which Matt Murdock, played by Charlie Cox (She-Hulk: Attorney at Law , Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man) revealed his secret identity.
Speaking at a recent GalaxyCon panel, Vincent D’Onofrio teased what fans can expect from the next chapter of the series, highlighting a brief time jump and an escalation in narrative intensity. He noted, “There’s a lot of action in season three and we picked up literally only six months after the second season ends.”
Reported by Screenrant, Vincent further goes into detail, but while not giving away any spoilers, “There’s a lot of action in season three and we picked up literally only six months after the second season ends. So, [Daredevil] went to prison, I got exiled somewhere. I’m not going to say where, but I am and then, you know, because we can’t help it, we get back together again. But you know, it’s a completely different feeling inside and out during the new iteration.”

According to Screenrant, the current premise indicates that while Matt Murdock is incarcerated, the responsibility of maintaining peace in Hell’s Kitchen will fall to the remaining Defenders. D’Onofrio’s commentary indicates that the upcoming season will be characterized by intense physical demands and relentless momentum, compelling both factions to adapt quickly to their evolving environment ahead of an inevitable, high-stakes confrontation.
