The Way Home will launch its third season on Hallmark+, Hallmark Media’s new subscription streaming service and membership rewards platform, on Thursday, January 2. The series, starring Andie MacDowell (Groundhog Day), Chyler Leigh (Not Another Teen Movie), Evan Williams (Versailles) and Sadie Laflamme-Snow (Slasher), will premiere on the streamer months ahead of its debut on the Hallmark Channel in fall 2025.
Following its January 21 Season 2 premiere, The Way Home became a major success for Hallmark Channel, ranking as the top entertainment cable program among households, total viewers and adults 18+.
Season 3 brings back MacDowell, Leigh, Williams and Laflamme-Snow, while introducing Julia Tomasone (Ghostwriter) and Jordan Doww (Ganymede) as teenage versions of Del (MacDowell) and Colton (played by Carrie‘s Jefferson Brown). Devin Cecchetto (The Parker Andersons/Amelia Parker) also joins the cast as Teen Evelyn. The new season picks up with Kat (Leigh) and her long-lost brother Jacob (payed by Reign’s Spencer Macpherson), who vanished more than 20 years ago, arriving at the Landry home, shocking an unsuspecting Del.
Kate Redinger, Senior Director of Programming at Hallmark Media states that she is continually amazed by the exceptional storytelling of Heather Conkie, Alexandra Clarke and Marly Reed, adding that “each season brilliantly builds on the one before and this season promises to be the best one yet, with the intriguing new characters they’ve created and riveting storylines, viewers are in for another enthralling season.”
