The Walking Dead continue in February. AMC has released the teaser for part two of the three-part eleventh and final season of the post-apocalyptic series.
“No matter what we’ve faced or who we’ve lost. Whatever happens, we finish together,” says The Walking Dead survivors in the teaser. The next episode, titled “No Other Way”, will kick off part two of the finale plot.
The final season follows Daryl (Norman Reedus), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Carol (Melissa McBride), and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) struggling for Alexandria’s survival as they are pushed to a point of no return. Season 11B will see our heroes facing life-or-death decisions as their mission to Meridian crosses paths with one of Daryl’s old allies, Leah (played by Lynn Collins). The world of The Walking Dead continues to expand as viewers follow those a part of the Commonwealth.
Norman Reedus recently spoke to ComicBook about the final season. “It’s kind of mind-blowing where we’re going. We did the first 10 episodes kind of in one direction, and that involved Maggie’s story mostly and us trying to deal with what’s going on with that as a group,” he told ComicBook. “And then all of a sudden, we did a 180, and now it’s kind of like Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory all of a sudden. It’s completely different. We’re all doing The Exorcist right now, all of our heads are spinning in a circle […] “I mean, things go from a black and white Western to a technicolor Willy Wonka film like that, and it’s crazy.”
