Chandler Riggs (George, Mercy) has recently posted a video on Twitter regarding his successful surgery, according to ComicBook. With a slight nod to his role as Carl on AMC’s hit show The Walking Dead, Riggs writes “I swear to God if I see a single “walker” Joke.” The star seems to be recovering post-surgery and in good spirits toward his progress.
watch out wall street, here i come – fresh out of surgery. if you rich bastards thought we was gonna go down without fighting over $GME you’re dead wrong, i’ve got a whole bottle of oxycodone and i’m ready to make more poor financial decisions. more today, more tomorrow. 😤🚀👐💎 pic.twitter.com/4i4B3BNDK4

The same can not be said for Riggs outlook on the reputation of Wall Street as he sides heavily with the Reddit group that has famously taken on the titans of stock trade in a full-scale attack. Riggs comments on the hypocrisy of Wall Street in his tweet above, “watch out wall street, here i come – fresh out of surgery. if you rich bastards thought we was gonna go down without fighting over $GME you’re dead wrong, i’ve got a whole bottle of oxycodone and i’m ready to make more poor financial decisions. more today, more tomorrow,” Riggs wrote in his twitter post according to ComicBook.
Riggs unfortunately fell from his horse resulting in a concussion and some memory loss back in November of 2019. After that he also had a snowboarding wipeout that struck worry throughout his social media followers due to his recent concussion. Riggs tweeted about his memory loss back in November. “I feel a lot better but I still forget a thing or two from time to time…It’s so weir hearing about what I was saying and doing after [the accident] happened. For hours I had no idea what year it was, how I got there, what happened, etc. and I kept asking the same questions over and over again just to immediately forget the answer,” Riggs wrote according to ComicBook.

The last time we saw Riggs on Walking dead was when Carl was bitten by a walker and used his last remaining hours to try and advocate for peace between Rick (Andrew Lincoln, Love Actually) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Watchmen.) With Riggs on the mend and having mentioned he would be glad to reprise his role of Carl on future Walking Dead projects, fans are hoping to see him return to the series soon.
