Michael Trevino’s Tyler will be the first character from TVD to visit The Originals set.
The actor himself confirmed to Entertaintment Weekly the crossover between The Vampire Diaries and its spin-off series, although there is no set date for the episode to air.
A lot of fans showed their unpleasantness towards The Vampire Diaries’ most recent episode because of Caroline and Tyler’s break up, but the actor tried to reassure fans.
“Everything will be explained, and I think Tyler will make it good once he shows up to The Originals.”, Trevino said, “I think everybody will be happy with Tyler’s reasoning [for leaving Caroline] when they see what he’s been up to and what he has planned.”
