According to a Comicbook article the adult TV channel known as Adult Swim has released a trailer for their new animated series ‘Oh My God… Yes!’ The new series that gives us a glimpse of the future will be seen as “A Series of Extremely Relatable Circumstances,” per Comicbook. The article goes on to say that Adult Swim has been trying new things with the shows they have been releasing to the network to “deliver projects that are notable and unique all on their own.”

Per Comicbook the show will center around three women Sunny, Tulip, and Ladi who are trying to find themselves while piloting their way through futuristic South Central Los Angeles, California. The characters wind up in crazy situations but the show also explores how they navigate these situations in Avery funny but human way that fans and audiences can relate to.

In an interview with  the president of Adult Swim Micheal Ouweleen says “Usually when someone uses a futuristic setting to comment on the present, it’s a brooding downer.” He continues by saying “But Adele has made a future that is both plausible, relatable, and most importantly, unique and hilarious.”

The show was written by Adele Williams (My Dad The Bounty Hunter, Lilia) who is an Emmy nominated writer and executive producer according to Comicbook. Williams says it is written to honor the South Central L.A. that she grew up in but with a futuristic twist. The show was executive produced by Dominique Brand who co- produced ‘The Simpsons’. Produced for the network by Six Point Harness the show will run for a quarter hour per episode says Comicbook.

The show released a pilot in the summer which gave fans a sneak peak of what was to come but now the show is here and will be airing one new episode from after its release date.

‘Oh My God…Yes!’ will be available on Adult Swim on Sunday, March 9, 2025. It will also be available to stream on Max the next day.
