
Marvel Studios is preparing something big with releasing the official trailer their new project, VisionQuest. The pl,ot of the series follows, White Vision, played by Paul Bettany (Legion, A Knight’s Tale), who after the events of WandaVision, is trying to grasp on what is his true idenity and now is in hiding from those that would use him as a weapon. He gets further aid in his needs with human version of J.A.R.V.I.S, played by James D’Arcy (Cloud Atlas, Dunkirk), E.D.I.T.H, played by Emily Hampshire (Schitt’s Creek, Snow Cake) and F.R.I.D.A.Y, played by Orla Brady (Into the Badlands, The Foreigner).
The trailer also reveals the central dynamic of the series: Vision is paired with a human variant of Ultron, with James Spader (Avengers: Age of Ultron, The Blacklist) reprising his role. Throughout the preview, Vision is shown protecting a mysterious figure—implied to be his reincarnated son, Tommy Maximoff, portrayed by Ruaridh Mollica (Too Rough, Stonemouth). Tommy’s secret identity serves as a major plot engine, forcing Vision to confront his past and make harrowing choices to protect what remains of his family.
This is will be the ending chapter of the Maximoff’s story, which began with WandaVision focusing on on Vision and Wanda, played by Elizabeth Olsen (Godzilla , Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness), then to Agatha All Along which introduced a reincarnated Billy Maxomoff, played by Joe Locke (Heartstopper, Kevin). As Vision wrestles with Ultron’s dark influence whispering in his mind, he must reconcile his mechanical origins and re-establish his connection to humanity.
With a star studded cast and directed by Terry Matalas (Star Trek: Picard, 12 Monkeys), VisionQuest is sure topacked with intense battle sequences, emotional character development, and high-stakes Marvel lore. VisionQuest is scheduled to land on Disney+ on October 14 with the first two episodes available to stream, and weekly episodes releasing every Wednesday.
