‘The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power’ Is Back For Another Season In Light Of A Confirmation From Prime Video

According to a press release by Prime Video the new season of the ‘The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power’ has been approved by Prime Video. The show is a thrilling and has done major success on the screen. Prime video says that the show is set to start filming in the spring under a new production home which is Shepperton Studios which is located in the U.K. .

According to Prime Video Vernon Sanders the head of television at Amazon MGM Studios says ” The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power continues to captivate audiences worldwide, and we’re thrilled that a third season is underway. The creative team has an extraordinary vision of what’s to come with stories that have left us enchanted and enthralled,”. He continues by saying “We look forward to continuing this epic journey, for our global customers, delving even deeper into the legendary tales that shaped Middle-earth.” Charlotte Brändström (The Witcher, The Man in the High Castle) along side Sanaa Hamri (  will be making their return to the show as the executive producer for the new season after they both co- executive produced a few episodes in the first and second season. Stefan Schwartz will also be joining the team for the first time, and each of the directors will manage a couple of episodes.

According to Prime Video the show has been praised by fans and audiences due to its “epic scope and production values, and Seasons One and Two are Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.” Prime also goes on to say that still to this day the show had the biggest premiere in the History of Prime Video. The show runners for the series include J.D. Payne (Star Trek Beyond, Godzilla vs. Kong) and Patrick McKay (A View to Kill, A Christmas Carol). 

Seasons one and two of ‘The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power’ is available for streaming on Prime Video.
