A trailer of the long-awaited third season of Prime Video’s The Legend of Vox Machina has recently been released on instagram, and it gives a recap of the journey that the band of heroes has overcome. The series is based on the first campaign by the renowned DND group Critical Role, who voiced the characters that they created. The third season will surely follow up on the events of the previous one, in which the gourd continues their search for the rest of the vestiges of divergence to stop Thordark and the chroma conclave.
The previous cast who will return to reprise their roles will include Taliesin Jaffe (The End of Evangelion) as Percy de Rolo, Liam O’Brien (Naruto) as Vaxildan, Laura Bailey (Soul Eater) as Vex’ahlia, Marisha Ray (Candela Obscura) as Keyleth, Ashley Johnson (The Last of Us) as Pike, Travis Willingham (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood), and Sam Riegel (K: Missing Kings) as Scanlan.Matt Mercer (Attack on Titan) will also be back, as he voices various side characters. There has been no further information on Thordak’s new voice actor, who was voiced by the late Lance Reddick (John Wick).
The third season will surely introduce new settings and characters that interact with Vox Machina, which will aid them in their journey. A first-look release by Prime Video shows the group running through an unknown city and being chased by numerous guards.
