After getting cancelled after its second season, AMC’s The Killing has been cancelled again, following its third season, Deadline reports.
The mystery drama opened its third season with 1.8 million viewers and drew largely positive reactions from critics and fans. The season finale dropped to 1.5 million, barely up from the 1.4 million viewers from the previous season’s finale.
“We have made the difficult decision not to move forward with a fourth season of The Killing,” AMC said in a statement to Deadline, “We want to tank our great partners at Fox Television Studios, creator Veena Sud, an extraordinary cast and the dedicated fans who watched.”
