

The force is being pulled into two directions with the recent season release of the Disney+ Star Wars show, Star Wars: Visions. According to Screenrant, the animated anthology series showcases standalone, anime-inspired short films created by various studios with several being continations to previous ones such as The Duel, The Village Bride, and The Ninth Jedi from the first season.
Reported by Screenrant, the season’s rotten tomato score displays 100 percent with critics,but a 68 percent with audience with only 16 reviews being collected so far. Critic reviews hails the show for its bold, experimental storytelling and stunning animation, while viewers state that the stories are forgettable for not being tied to the main saga of the franchise. Though these are just a view statement, and as time goes on the reviews and score of the series could have a dramatic change.
Stated by Screenrant, this divide seems to be a constant things as both season one and two experienced it. The first season had a 96% critical and 66% audience score, while season two came out with a a 100% critical and 61% audience score, in which the overall score of the series totaled to a 98% and 64%. There is no current news on where the third season will land across the franchise’s list, with the first volume in fourth place and the second volume in number 14.
There has been no information, but whether the animated series gets renewed for a fourth season than it would release in sometime in 2027 following the scheduled with every new season releasing two years to the previous one. Stated by Screenrant, despite the persistent critic-fan divide, the show’s overall success in pushing creative boundaries seems to have won over a significant portion of the viewership.
