Justin Bartha has joined the cast of CBS All Access’ The Good Fight, Variety reports. He joins a cast that includes Gush Jumbo, Christine Baranski, Rose Leslie, and Delroy Lindo.
Bartha will play Colin, an eligible bachelor and promising star in the state attorney’s office. When Colin rivals Lucca, played by Jumbo, in the courtroom, romantic sparks fly.
Bartha, repped by CAA was a series regular on Fox’s Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life. His other credits include NBC’s The New Normal and The Hangover and National Treasure feature films.
“Whenever you’re looking for a romantic lead, you look for someone who can play the comedy and the sexuality, but even more importantly is the intelligence,” said Robert and Michelle King, series creators and executive producers. “And that’s what we love about Justin: he can play all three: the comedy and the sexuality, but he’s also convincing as a tough intellectual foe to Cush Jumbo in court. We couldn’t be happier.”
The Good Fight is a spinoff of the CBS drama The Good Wife. This CBS Television Studios series will premiere on CBS this February, and stream on CBS All Access. It will be the first original scripted series exclusive to the All Access service.
