Just when we thought the evil of Hawkins was vanquished, Netflix draws our attention with an official trailer for its animated spinoff, Stranger Things: Tales From ’85. The trailer gives us a greater view of what to expect in the series and the monster that the group will facing against in the series.
For those who don’t know, Netflix has been creating a animated spinoff series that connects to the main series. The series takes place in between seasons two and three during the winter. However, things are not normal, as the kids notice a new breed of monsters roaming around Hawkins despite the gate being closed. The kids will not being going up against these threats alone for they have befriended a kid with a mohawk named Nikki Baxter. Nikki was given a first encounter to one of these new monsters in the trailer where she was walking around Hawkins eating a pizza and listening to music, when the monster emerged from the snow and tried to attack her, thankfully Eleven and her friends were there to save her. What is made clear by everyone is that these threats can not escape because if Hawkins is overrun with these monsters, whose to say the rest of world can be next.
