With the second season of Prime Video’s Fallout making its grand debut ,changes have been made to one character in the series. According to Screenrant, the character in question is Mr. House, played by Rafi Silver (Shameless, NCIS) ,who made a brief cameo back in season one, was seen in a meeting with Vault-Tec executives to discuss their approach about nuclear apocalypse. The role will be taken over by by Justin Theroux (Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Megamind) in the second season.
Theurox and one of the show co-creators, Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Captain Marvel and Tomb Raider) stated in an interview with Screenrant and ,” We wanted to play House as someone who is constantly playing tricks on the world, and was maybe somewhat scared to go out because, think of what a targeted man he is. Would you go out if you were him? And so that’s why we were really excited to do what we did with Rafi Silver, who’s returning from season 1, playing Robert House. I’m curious what fans will think of that — we had a lot of fun with it.”
Furthermore into the interview, Theroux goes to explain that his character will be like Howard Huges and Dworet expresses, “I think he’s become so paranoid, or so rarefied, that he needs to live above Las Vegas in a very protected place.” Despite these changes, Mr House will be a prominent character that Lucy, played by Ella Purnell (Arcane, Yellowjackets) Ghoul, played by Walton Goggian (Sons of Anarchy, The White Lotus) and Maximus, played by Aaron Moten (Father Stu, Next) will meet on their journeys.
As the rest of the season unfolds, viewers can look forward to discovering Mr. House’s bold plans for the post apocalyptic world. The first episode of Fallout season two is available to watch on Prime Video, with weekly episode release every Wednesday.
