The drama comedy was co-created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Big Love) as well as Michael Grassi (Riverdale). Katy Keene has become currently CW’s only cancellation. The network has recently renewed Batwoman and Nancy Drew back in January after their first seasons via Entertainment Weekly.
The series sets in New York City, following Katy Keene, played by Lucy Hale, as she gets to know new roommate Josie McCoy. Tied to the CW hit Riverdale, Katy Keene features past Riverdale lead Ashleigh Murray as Josie.
