According to Deadline, the final trailer has been released for The Crown season six part two. The episode which launch in two weeks, brining an end to the royal family saga. The final episodes will be released on December 14th.
The trailer delves into the lives of the royal family after the death of Princess Diana. Along with this, Prince Harry and Prince William are shown growing up just as Tony Blair, The Prime Minister, begins to step into the spotlight, says Deadline.
Deadline also expands on Prince William, who is still struggling with the death of his mother, and how he goes back to Eton where girls are enamored with him due to the tragedy he faced. However, Prince William struggles to re-adjust to life after the death of his Princess Diana, which causes tensions within his family to rise as they do what they can to help him through the tough times.
Deadline then recognized the events shown where Prince William begins his education at St Andrew’s University and how “the omnipresent conflict of life as a public servant continues as he tries to balance the traditional undergraduate rites of passage with the constraints of his position and constant presence of personal protection officers.”
However, Deadline reveals that Prince William’s true test is when he begins to develop feelings for the most sought-after woman who attends the school; Kate Middleton. Just as this happens, Princess Margret suffers from a stroke. This leads her to re-evaluate her lifestyle and the choices that brought her there.
Imelda Staunton (Freedom Writers), Dominic West (Tomb Raider) and Jonathan Pryce (One Life) continue to star in the show. Meanwhile, Ed McVey and Luther Ford take on William and Harry and Meg Bellamy also shows up as Kate, states Deadline.
These episodes come after the controversy of the first half of the season that featured Princess Diana’s death, Deadline says. This controversy involved the Queen’s former press secretary getting angry at the portrayal of how the princess died.
