The Boys is an Amazon Prime Original Series based on a superhero comic book with the same name. The series follows a team of vigilantes who fight back against super heroes who abuse their powers.
From Amazon: “THE BOYS is an irreverent take on what happens when superheroes, who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians and as revered as Gods, abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good.”
The new trailer shows us the cast who plays The Seven and The Boys in costume and how they left off last season. Lots of blood splatters and violence to make you anticipate the new episodes. Also we see that Giancarlo Esposito is going to be in the new season, who played Gus Fring on Breaking Bad.
The Series follows two groups, The Seven, which is a team of Super heroes owned by Vought International who capitalizes on them, and The Boys who try to keep the corrupted heroes under control.
The Boys are led by Billie Butcher, played by Karl Urban, who hates all super heroes. While The Seven are led by the arrogant Home Lander, played by Antony Starr. The series also follows the new characters who join each team.
Patton Oswalt is also expected to be a special guest on this new Season of The Boys.
