Hulu has released first-look images for the upcoming sixth season of its critically acclaimed comedy series Only Murders in the Building, showing the central trio heading to a brand-new destination: London. According to Screenrant, the new season will surely make a  connection t the new case hinted  at the ending scene of the previous season in which Charles, played by Steve Martin (Cheaper by the Dozen, The Pink Panther); Oliver, played by Martin Short (Three Amigos, Innerspace), and Mabel, played by Selena Gomez (Wizard on Waverly Place, Spring Breakers) discover a bloody Cinda, played by Tina Fey (Sisters, Mean Girls) outside of the Arconia.

Stated by Screenrant, additional information has been revealed with the trio investing the English shores to uncover clues on what happen to the who target-marked Cinda, while a parallel narrative focus on a bizarre British TV reboot of Charles’ classic detective show, Brazzos. While the previous season included a brief excursion to Los Angeles before returning to New York, this upcoming season marks the first time the series will feature a permanent shift to a new setting.

Reported by Screenrant, some of the first look images shows the trio in London, and will surely partake in the same comedy style investigation that the series has been well known for. Along with the change of scenery, the new season brings an extraordinary lineup of British talent to the guest cast, which will include Doctor Who’s David Tennant (Good Omens, Duck Tales), Peter Calpaldi (Criminal Record, The Devil’s Hour) and Jodie Whittaker (Broadchurch, Attack on the Block).

Combining a fresh case and a compelling new setting with an impressive ensemble cast promises to significantly boost the series’ viewership. Furthermore, a strategic winter release positions the show as a must-watch holiday event. With season six set to premiere on December 8 with 10 episodes, fans can catch up on all previous seasons of Only Murders in the Building, currently available to stream on Hulu and Disney+.
