The Americans is returning on Wednesday, February 26 at 10 PM on FX.
According to Deadline, the second season returns in 2014. 5.1 million viewers watched the premiere of season 1, making it FX’s most-watched drama debut to date. The period spy drama topped the starts of Sons of Anarchy and American Horror Story.
The show stars Keri Russel and Matthew Rhys as two sleeper KGB spies posing as Americans in suburban D.C during the 1980s. The show co-stars Noah Emmerich, Holly Taylor, Keidrich Sellati, Annet Mahendru, Alison Wright and Susan Misner.
Fox Television Studios and FX Prods produce the series. FX renewed the series with a 13-episode order.
