Temuera Morrison Suits Up Again for Latest Episode of Disney +’s ‘The Mandalorian’

The release of last week’s episode of The Mandalorian left audience stunned as Temaru Morrison returned to the screen, according to Deadline.. The episode titled “Tragedy” marks the long-awaited homecoming of Temura Morrison (Tom Curry, Aquaman), who originally played Jango Fett in Star Wars Attack of The Clones. During Attack of The Clones, fans learn that Jango Fett provided the genetic template for The Grand Army of The Republic. The soldiers were known from that point on as “clone troopers.” These troopers were battle ready and had a penchant for working well together as a team.  The release of Attack of The Clones, May 12 2002, was the first and last time fans saw Morrison appear in the Star Wars cinematic universe as a bounty hunter.

The “Tragedy” episode plot puts Mando (Pedro Pascal, Game of Thrones) in the position of choosing to keep Boba Fett’s armor or save Grogu from Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen, Mulan,) who is under the employ of Fett. Once a bigger threat emerges, the three bounty hunters unite to take down a squad of imperial troopers. Deadline reports that the imperials found Mando with a tracking device. “Why are the Imperials there? Remember they put a tracker on Mando’s Razor Crest spaceship.”

Morrison also had a part in Star Wars Revenge of The Sith. He played and voiced clone troopers such as Commander Cody and the rest of the clone army. Apart from cinematic works, Morrison has provided voice work on several different Star Wars video game franchises. Specifically, when he voiced Boba Fett in 2017’s Star Wars Battlefront 2 and the lesser known fan favorite Star Wars: Republic Commando where he voiced the leader of Delta Squad known simply as Boss.

Amongst all the action, Boba Fett is able to dawn his old armor and kill some storm troopers with his laser pistol. Fans will be excited to know that Boba Fett, Fennec, and Mando will be fighting as a team for another episode of The Mandalorian in order to save Grogu from the clutches of the sinister Moff Gideon.
