As stated by Deadline, season four of Bridgerton will focus on Benedict Bridgerton, portrayed by Luke Thompson (A Little Life, West of Eden), and his love interest Sophie Baek, played by Yerin Ha (Dune: Prophecy, Bad Behavior). The two actors took a selfie together in their offscreen clothes, which was posted on the official Bridgerton Instagram page.

The caption, attached to a series of photos posted on Christmas day, read, “Rejoice for it is the season of joy and merriment!”
New cast members include Isabella Wei (The Crow, Black Doves) as Posy Li, Katie Leung (Arcane: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) as Lady Araminta Gun and Michelle Mao (All I Want is Everything, My Nights Glow Yellow) as Rosamund Li. Recurring cast members that attended the table read were Adjoa Andoh (Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, Women Make Film) as Lady Danbury, Florence Hunt (Cursed, Queen at Sea) as Hyacinth, Hannah Dodd (Flowers in the Attic: The Origin, Find Me in Paris) as Franchesca, Polly Walker (Patriot Games, Enchanted April) as Portia Featherington and Ruth Gemmell (Tracy Beaker: The Movie of Me, Waking the Dead) as Lady Violet Bridgerton. Many others were present during the table screening.
Deadline notes that Hugh Sachs (The Libertine, Aristocrats), who plays Brimsley, and Emma Naomi (Surprised by Oxford, The Trial of Christine Keeler), who portrays Alice Mondrich, were announced to be series regulars after being guest stars for the previous three seasons.
Shonda Rhimes (Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal) is the creator and executive producer of Bridgerton, based on a book series by Julia Quinn (The Duke and I, The Viscount Who Loved Me). The upcoming season centers around Benedict, who, despite his brothers, has no intention of settling down; however, his chances are changed when he meets a woman at his mother’s masquerade ball. Filming began in September when the news of the fresh cast members and promotion of the two guest stars was revealed.
