There’s nothing more American than chilling, scary, unsettling genius, right?
SyFy seems to think so – today, the science fiction channel will air an all-day marathon of Rod Sterling’s The Twilight Zone in honor of Independence Day.
SyFy runs holiday marathons of the popular science-horror drama on New Years’ Eve as well as the Fourth of July, so if you aren’t willing to wait until the end of the year to get your fill of star-studded 1960s sci-fi, today’s the day to take some time out of firework-watching and spend a little time with SyFy.
The marathon will air all day today, July 4, starting at 8 a.m., and will run until tomorrow morning at 3 a.m. If you’re busy barbecuing and happen to miss a few episodes, worry not – most of the series is currently on Netflix. Still, the marathon is definitely one to watch.
