‘Supernatural’ Star Jared Padelecki Arrested in Austin for Assault

Supernatural’ Star Jared Padelecki was arrested outside a club in Austin early Sunday morning after he reportedly punch a bartender in the face according to TMZ.

Jared Padelecki, an actor who is known for popular roles in shows and movies such as Supernatural, Gilmore Girls, House of Wax, and Friday the 13th is being held by police and could possibly be charged with two counts of assault and one count of public intoxication. His bail is set for 15 thousand dollars, 5 thousand dollars for each of the charges placed.

After the situation escalated, friends of the star reportedly took him outside the club to calm him down but didn’t work. The video from TMZ appears to show drunk Jared Padelecki wrestling with someone as one puts another in a headlock. It ends with Padelecki throwing his hands up in the air (and by the looks of his demeanor in the video we can assume) in capitulation. The video continues with Jared seeming to confront police while sitting on top of a car and ultimately ends with him being hand cuffed and placed inside a police car. The club that Padelecki was arrested at is called Stereotype. Where the star is, an apparent regular and is also a place where Padelecki has had other fight related altercations. There is no word on if the television star has been released from jail in addition to the details pertaining as to what might have caused the situation to escalate.

Padelecki’s most recent show, Supernatural, where he co-leads with long time close friend and colleague Jensen Ackles, has been on the air on The CW Network for the past 14 seasons. Sadly, the cast leads of the shows Jensen, Jared and Misha Collins who plays the angel, Castiel equally decided to end the running of the show with its 15thseason. Jared Padelecki has also allegedly accepted taking the role of Walker in the CBS reboot of Walker, Texas Ranger according to Deadline. Padelecki is also planning on playing another significant role in the show working as one of the acting Executive Producers of the show. After this quarrel, there is no way to determine how this will affect his on and off screen persona with the ending of his long-time show, the announcement for his new show, as well as his advocacy campaign for mental illness, Always Keep Fighting.
