The network announced that the actress will play Mike’s executive assistant.
The Newsroom actress Melanie Papalia will recur in the new season of USA’s Suits, as noted by The Hollywood Reporter. There will be lots of changes in the fourth season of Suits and the casting of Melanie Papalia as a recurring star is one of them. She will play Amy, Mike Ross’ (Patrick J. Adams) new executive secretary at Sidwell. She is described as bright and quick-witted and she develops an instant connection with Mike and helps him with his professional and personal problems.
Papalia, repped by Industry Entertainment and Roxanne Kinsman in Vancouver, joins the legal drama alongside previously announced guest stars D.B. Woodside, Brendan Hines and Michael Gross. Her credits include Painkiller Jane, Aliens in America, The Assistants, Endgame and will star next in upcoming Tribeca entry Extraterrestrial.
The production for the fourth season of Suits already begun in Toronto and the new episodes are expected to premiere in the summer of 2014.
