HBO’s Emmy-winning series Succession released a teaser during the House of the Dragon finale, according to TV Guide. The teaser confirmed Succession‘s Spring 2023 premiere.
The series written and created by Jesse Armstrong (Fresh Meat, Four Lions) observes the media giant Logan Roy, played by Brian Cox (X2: X-Men United, Troy), and his four grown children, Connor, played by Alan Ruck (Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Twister), Roman, played by Kieran Culkin (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Home Alone), Siobhan, played by Sarah Snook (Steve Jobs, The Dressmaker), and Kendall, played by Jeremy Strong (The Trial of the Chicago 7, The Judge).
On June 27, 2022, Succession‘s Twitter account posted a photo revealing that the production on season four has already commenced in New York City.

As told by ComicBook, “according to a synopsis officially released by HBO, in the ten-episode fourth season of Succession, the sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson moves ever closer. The prospect of this seismic sale provokes existential angst and familial division among the Roys as they anticipate what their lives will look like once the deal is completed. A power struggle ensues as the family weighs up a future where their cultural and political weight is severely curtailed.”
