

Netflix is reving up with the highly awaited return of its grimy animated series, Dorohedoro. Reported by Comicbook, the series has been well known for its unpredictable storytelling and distinctive animation, which has truly captured the views of audiences worldwide. The plot of the series, set in the decaying city known as the Hole, centered on Caiman, voiced by Aleks Le (Demon Slayer, DandaDan), who is trying to find out about his lost past and identity and is aided by his friend, Nikaido, played by Reba Buhr (Jujutsu Kaisen, Scarlet Nexus).
Reported by Comicbook, it was back in 2020 when the first season ended in which the duo have escape the gaze of En voiced by Keith Silverstein (Hunter X Hunter, Genshin Impact), and now traversing the sorcerer’s world while being on the run, but also looking for clue. On the other hand, Shin, voiced by Sean Chiplock (Tokyo Revengers, Beyblade X) and Noi, voiced by Cherami Leigh (Fairy Tail, Go, Go, Loser Ranger!) are trying to protect the rest of the Hole’s resident and sending them back home.
Due to the series’ excellent work of blending 3D and traditional drawing styles, it has amassed a large fanbase. Stated by Comicbook, the production of the anime is done by none other than MAPPA, the creative studio famous for titles such as Attack on Titan and Chainsaw Man. The series has been recognized as being a 10/10 anime masterpiece, and the new season marks a triumphant return and is sure to delve deeper into the untold mysteries.
With more episodes to come, the gritty work of Q Hayashida (Dei Dark) will surely expand, along with a growing viewership. The first three episodes of the second season of Dorohedoro are available to stream on Netflix, with new weekly episodes released every Wednesday.
