According to The Hollywood Reporter, Starz has revealed a new official trailer for the eighth and final season of historical fantasy Outlander. “I remember when I saw you for the first time. I remember every moment. Every second. I’ll never forget,” the character of  Jamie Fraser says in the trailer as a series of flashbacks with Claire Randall.

As per The Hollywood Reporter, in the seventh season of Outlander, based on Diana Gabaldon’s (Dragonfly in Amber, A Breath of Snow and Ashes) series of novel, mixes a blend of drama and romance. The season sees the Frasers get swept up in the turmoil of the American Revolution, with the series finale capturing Jamie deciding to resign his Continental Army commission and return to Fraser’s Ridge with Claire.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the producers of the series state that the synopsis is as follows: the Frasers must confront what they are willing to sacrifice for the place they call home and what they might sacrifice to stay together. “With everything that’s about to come, I’m so scared to lose everything,”  With everything that’s about to come, I’m so scared to lose everything,” Claire tells Jamie as the battle for Fraser’s Ridge rages. The final season, set to premiere in early 2026, will also see the Frasers attempt to keep a united front against outside intruders. only for family secrets to be revealed, tearing them apart. Starz has also launched Outlander: Blood of My Blood , a prequel series to Outlander.

As per  The Hollywood Reporter, the cast of the series includes Caitriona Balfe (The Amateur, Angela’s Christmas Wish) as Claire Randall, Sam Heughan (Island at War, Born to be Great) as Jamie Fraser, Sophie Skelton (Castlevania: Nocturne, Row) as Brianna Randall (The Syndicate, The Tragedy of Macbeth) Fraser, Richard Rankin (The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, A Shine of Rainbows) as Roger Mackenzie, John Bell (Wrath of the Titans, Miss Temperance) as Young Ian Murray, Duncan Lacroix (Outlaw King, The Sisters Brothers) as Murtagh Fraser.
