According to Deadline, the series will be based on the work of Nevada Barr (A Superior Death, Blind Descent), which follows the journey of the titled character, played by Tracy Spiridakos (Chicago P.D., FBI), who became a park ranger after witnessing a devasting loss that had changed her life. Now she uncovers mysterious deaths that have occurred within the beautiful landscape and to figure out what happen to the victims.
According to Deadline, Rowe Jr. will portray Frederick Stanton, a charismatic and cool-headed FBI agent who finds himself repeatedly crossing paths with Anna. While it has not been officially announced it can be speculated that Anna and Kendrick will help each other out to catch the culprit behind the crime. This news comes from Rowe just completing the fourth season of Star Trek: Discovery.
