Frasier fans have seen the adventures of Freddy Crane in the original series and now in Paramount+’s revival, too. But not without remembering one of the most hilarious adventures of his adolescence, the ‘Goth Freddy’ phase, seen in season 11 of the original Frasier. In an interview with TVLine, Jack Cutmore-Scott (Deception, Tenet), who portrays Freddy in the Paramount+ revival of Frasier, disclosed whether there will ever be a comeback of this iconic and memorable phase of his character.
“Listen, I’m game,” Cutmore-Scott said with a laugh via TVLine. He added that Freddy becoming Goth again will be all thanks to the writers’ creative minds, but he also shared that Freddy’s Goth phase is definitely “iconic” to him.
Furthermore, Frasier executive producer Joe Cristalli (Acapulco, Maggie) shared his thoughts on this possibility via TVLine: “If we can figure out a way to do it, yes. There’s nothing I would like more than to see Jack in Goth attire and eyeliner and moody… I would kill for that.”
If anyone is interested in knowing more about the series, the press release from Paramount+ for the second season states the following: “Produced by CBS Studios, FRASIER follows Frasier Crane in the next chapter of his life after he returns to Boston to face new challenges, forge new relationships and—with hope— finally fulfill an old dream or two. FRASIER’s sophomore season will see Dr. Frasier Crane return to his radio roots at KACL in a Seattle-themed episode. The series is filmed in front of a live studio audience at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles.”
Frasier’s first two seasons are available to stream on Paramount+.
