Stan Lee will appear on an upcoming ABC’s Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD episode.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lee himself confirmed weeks of speculation that he would appear on the show. Information on the role Lee will play is unknown; he told The Hollywood Reporter it was a “big role.” The episode will most likely air on February 4 although the date is not set in stone.
Lee has made cameo appearances in Marvel films such as Iron Man, The Avengers and the Spider-Man films. His roles include featured extras such as a mail carrier and a rejected wedding guest in the Fantastic Four films. He has also appeared as himself in The Big Bang Theory.
Lee executive produces ABC’s freshman series Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD.
Upcoming projects for Lee include his starring role in the animated film Stan Lee’s Mighty 7. The film will premiere on February 1 at 8 p.m. on the HUB Network.
