The highly renowned Marvel series, Daredevil:Born Again which has captivated audiences with its gritty atmosphere and keeping them on the edge of their seats has killed over a major character within its recent episode. According to Comicbook, in the latest episode dubbed Art for Art’s Sake, Daredevil, aka Matt Murdock, played by Charlie Cox (Spider-Man: No Way Home, Stardust), is currently on the trail and looking for clues surrounding the location and identity of the masked serial killer/artist Muse, aka Bastion Cooper, played by Hunter Doohan (Wednesday, Soundwave).
Later on, we learn that Bastion was a patient of Dr. Heather Glenn, played by Margarita Levieva (The Invisible, Spread), who is a psychiatrist and Matt’s current romantic interest. According to Comicbook, Matt eventually managed to locate Bastion’s covert subway hideout and rescued Angela Del Toro, who is portrayed by Camelia Rodriguez (Station 19, Extended Family), and got into a bloody battle with him. Ultimately, Bastion was shot by Heather.
According to Comicbook, Wilson Fisk, portrayed by Vincent D’Onofrio (Echo, Hawkeye), and his recently formed anti-vigilante task force were also in pursuit of the masked vigilante.When AVTF’s Cole North, played by Jeremy Earl (Fun Size, Ashe), was the first to arrive and discovered the dead, Fisk gave the squad orders to pretend that they had taken a murderer off the streets— knowing the truth of who really was there first. He then goes to give a speech and says, “I promised to keep our city safe, and I delivered.”
With a major threat like Muse out of the picture, the attention for the remainder of Daredevil: Born Again, will undoubtedly land back on Fisk, as he tries to use his power to get back on top and try to clear New York City of all vigilante activity.
