The journey through the Daredevil: Born Again’s second season has been unforgettable, but must of the audience felt that something has been missing, which was later rectified in the latest episode. According to Screenrant, in the series Daredevil aka Matt Murdock, played by Charlie Cox has two sides to him one being the vigilante, who fights against the corruption, in contrast the other is his day job as New York’s finest defense lawyer whose battlefield is within the courtroom.
Reported by Screenrant, the seventh episode titled ‘The Hateful Darkness” follow the aftermath of New York’s protest, which resulted in the arrest of Karen Page, played by Deborah Ann Woll (True Blood, Escape Room) and met face to face with Kingin, played by Vincent D’Onofrio (Echo, Hawkeye), who plans to humiliate her. She was soon to go on trial and conviction seems inevitable, but not until Matt made a dramatic entrance, stunning the entire courtroom as he goes to deliver,”Matt Murdock for the defense, your honor.”
This action by Matt symbolize his resolve in protecting the ones that he loves, while taking Fisk down, even if it means being in the crossfire. Stated by Screenrant, details on what consequences that on the character’s brash action will entail and how it will transfer over to the approaching season is still a mystery. Thankfully, Matt will not be alone in the approaching battle, as familiar allies including Krysten Ritter’s (Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Nightbooks) Jessica Jones, Mike Colter’s (Evil, Plane) Luke Cage, and Finn Jones (Awake, The Visitor) Iron Fist will be aiding him.
All episodes and seasons of of Daredevil: Born Again are available to stream on Disney+, while waiting on the finale which is just around the corner and scheduled to premiere on May 5. This isn’t the end of the story, as a third season is already in production and continuing control of New York.
