Stated by Deadline, Jamie Campbell Bower (Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, Witchboard), who redefined the series by portraying Henry/Vecna. Bower’s performance has been lauded for its visceral, unsettling physicality, a feat he attributes to a grueling immersion process.
Stated by Deadline, Vecna’s major plan is about total reconstruction of reality and planning on merging the Upside Down and Hawkins together. Viewers get a deeper lore drop of what the upside down truly is a wormhole and bridging the city of Hawkins to an unknown place called the abyss.
Jamie goes to speak in an interview with Deadline, about how it feels to get back into characters,”It was awesome. I mean, there were definitely times where it was terrifying for me. I’ve been vocal about this today and when we were discussing the first chapters as well. The Mr. Whatsit side of things, this is a presentation, and the intention is buried.”
Reported by Deadline, the second volume showcase Max, played by Sadie Sink (The Whale, Fear Street Part One: 1994) having escaped from the mind prison, but unfortunately wasn’t able to bring Holly, played by Nell Fisher (Bookworm, Evil Dead Rise) or the other children, who are still trapped.
Further stated by Deadline, viewers see that the gang prepare a daring journey into the upside with the combined forces of Eleven, played by Millie Bobbie Brown (The Electric State, Damsel) and Kali, played by Linnea Berthelsen (Devs, Teenland), who open a doorway into his mindscape realm.
The first two volumes of Stranger Things final season is available to stream on Netflix with the final part scheduled for December 31. The final battle will surely be jam packed, with everyone preparing to defeat Vecna at any cost.
