Lucasfilm and Disney has released an official trailer for the anticipated second season to Andor. According to mxdwn post, the series takes place before the events of Rogue One and A New Hope following the journey of Cassian, played by Diego Luna (The Book of Life), who is a thief turned rebel leader that goes on a journey to see what difference he can make towards the galaxy. The second season will follow where the first one end in which Cassian ask Luther, played Stellan Skarsgård (Dune) to take him in and join the rebellion, in which he agrees.
The newly release trailer gives a tantalizing glimpse into the upcoming battle that will shape Cassia’s character. According to a mxdwn post, season two is expected to be one of Star Wars’s most expensive series and will cost around 645 million, surpassing others within the franchise such as The Rise of Skywalker. This season is poised to deliver a thrilling and prominent adventure while also bridging the gap into the film. The trailer offers the same wonderful blend of action and comedy that made the prior season so recognizable.
According to mxdwn post, along Cassian, the other returning characters that will appear in the second season will consist of Lt. Dedra Meero, played by Denise Gough (The Witcher), Syril Karn, played by Kyle Soller (The Book of Boba Fett), and Orson Krennic, played by Ben Mendelsohn (Ready Player One). The information that was revealed does not give much information surrounding the plot and leaves fans on the edge of their seats to see what unknown dangers await Andor and his companions.
While waiting on the release of season two which is set to release on April 22 , the entire first of Andor and all other series within the Star War franchise are available to stream on Disney+.
