The official X account for South Park has released an alternate ending of recent episode “Got a Nut” that further escalates the animated satire’s recent feud with Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, according to Deadline’s Tom Tapp. A social media representative for Matt Stone and Trey Parker’s (That’s My Bush!, Team America: World Police) oft-political and irreverent Comedy Central show uploaded the clip Monday afternoon.
“Didn’t see this on TV?” the post’s caption reads. “Here’s the Paramount+ version of the end credits scene.”

The 27 second clip depicts Noem furtively ducking into a pet store in an ICE uniform before opening fire on its canine inhabitants, including one that attempts to flee out the front door before being gruesomely put down by its assailant with a trio of gunshots. The clip continues a running gag from the newest season based off a quote from the Security Secretary’s autobiography No Going Back, in which she admitted to euthanizing her misbehaving family dog via gunfire to demonstrate she was capable of making “difficult, messy, and ugly” choices in both the political and personal sphere (via Deadline). The statement drew widespread contempt from dog owners nationwide.
South Park’s 27th season has made Noem and the other associates of Donald Trump’s administration frequent topics of ridicule, including their parent company Paramount‘s perceived capitulation to a lawsuit the 47th President brought against the network over an allegedly mischaracterized interview of Democratic nominee Kamala Harris. The season premiere, “Sermon on the ‘Mount” saw the convicted felon in bed with Satan, while “Got a Nut” shifts the focus to adjutants like Noem, who is portrayed as a trigger-happy ICE enforcer whose face repeatedly falls off due to extensive plastic surgery (via Deadline).
“It’s so lazy to make fun of women for how they look,” Noem said in a public response to the episode (via The Hollywood Reporter). “Only the liberals and the extremists do that. If they want to criticize my job, go ahead and do that, but clearly they can’t. They just picked something petty like that.” Noem did not comment on other aspects of her portrayal, such as her counterpart’s dog-killing pastime.
The next episode of South Park is expected to premiere next week on Comedy Central.
