Fans of the hit family sitcom Modern Family would be thrilled upon any news of a revival or reunion of the iconic series. According to The Hollywood Reporter, actress Sofía Vergara (Griselda) would be totally on board to bring back the adventures of the Pritchett/Dunphy family. Not only for the sake of more Modern Family content but to be back and experiencing that show.
In an interview on The Hollywood Reporter’s podcast Awards Chatter, Vergara expressed how much she would love to bring back the beloved family sitcom. When asked about a possible revival or reunion of the series she said, “I mean, I would do it in a second. Of course I would do it.”
She also added that she thought that she would do a revival not only to be able to act again on the series and create more episodes but “just for the experience of doing it again.” She also added that she didn’t know if it was something that would go “good or bad”.
Although Modern Family ended only four short years ago in 2020, fans have been asking the cast and speculating if there were to be any sort of revival. Recently, actor Jesse Tyler-Ferguson (Ivy +Bean) who played Mitchell in the series, posted photo to his Instagram story of the old Modern Family set area of the entryway from the Dunphy household. He captioned the post “Haven’t seen this view in a while.” which just added more fuel to the speculations of any sort of Modern Family revival. With this, the actor also was seen in a TikTok with Aubrey Anderson-Emmons (Distance), who played his fictional daughter Lily in the show. The two posted a video of them lip-syncing a moment from Modern Family.
