Sneak Peek’s (Already!) for Season 7 of ‘Arrow’

With the season 6 finale barely faded from our minds, Arrow star Stephen Amell recently revealed some teasers for what’s ahead in season 7. Based on reports from TVLine, the series will add two new characters including one who will become a foe of the Arrow team.

The baddie role will be an anti-vigilante type for the SCPD who causes woes for our heroes. A second character will bring the “techiness” but also hides behind a sad past. Amell teased a possible third character when he was interviewed recently at a convention, We’re also debuting a new character, who, when I heard about it, I just got goosebumps. I’m so excited.”

According to a previous interview with Marc Guggenheim, the outgoing showrunner, season 6 provided plenty of easter egg type hints that led up to the finale. “We always knew that this is where we were headed to. So, hopefully in subtle ways have been teasing this all along without you realizing it,” Guggenheim noted,  “My hope is that people are surprised, but also look back and are like oh, that was kind of the only way that they could have ended the season.”

If you haven’t had a chance to watch the finale of Arrow, The CW is happy to offer it on their app:

SLIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD

Even though Ricardo Diaz (Kirk Acevedo) and his Longbow Hunters are still running rampant in Star City, one of these new characters could be a new adversary for Team Arrow. The crew is also facing challenges with Oliver being sent to a Supermax prison so they could also be recruiting for help.

Fans can speculate until the arrows hit their target but will ultimately have to wait until Fall. Arrow will be seen on Mondays at 9/8c right after new episodes of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
