Nickelodeon has officially set a premiere date for their new animated comedy titled The Loud House, Variety reports.
The 26-episode series revolves around 11 siblings, ten sisters and one brother (yikes!). The creator, Chris Savino developed The Loud House based on his childhood where he grew up in a family of 10 kids.
The series follows 11-year-old Lincoln Loud and his 10 sisters (Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn, Lucy, Lola, Lana, Lisa, and Lily) as he attempts to deal with the madness and chaos of a huge family. Lincoln’s best pal Clyde is there to lend a helping hand and always offers ways for Lincoln to steer clear from his family’s wild antics. But, whether or not Clyde’s suggestions work is what sparks their daily adventures.
Viewers can get a first look at the full-length episodes from The Loud House series during previews on April 1 and April 15 on Nick.com, the Nick App, and Nick On Demand. The concept of the animated comedy series is the first to be greenlit out of Nickelodeon’s annual Animated Shorts Program which was developed to cultivate a new generation of creative talent. The series is created and exec produced by Savino whose work includes Rocko’s Modern Life and The Powerpuff Girls. The voice cast for The Loud House includes Grant Palmer as Lincoln Loud; Caleel Harris as Clyde McBride; Catherine Taber as Lori; Liliana Mumy as Leni; Nika Futterman as Luna; Cristina Pucelli as Luan; Jessica DiCicco as Lynn and Lucy; Grey Griffin as Lola, Lana and Lily; and Lara Jill Miller as Lisa. The upcoming series is produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studios in Burbank, California.
