Snap Your Finger! Netflix’s Wednesday Coming to Blu-ray

The popular Netflix series, Wednesday, focuses on the perspective of the title character as she maneuvers her way through the mystery of Nevermore and battles unknown foes. The series was created by Alfred Gough (Into the Badlands) and Miles Millar (Smallville) and takes inspiration from the gothic style of Tim Burton (Beetlejuice). According to Comicbook, Warner Bros has announced that the acclaimed series will be on the shelves on March 26th, and the price of the Blu-ray will be $29.98, while the DVD version will be $ 24.98. The show was praised for being a cultural phenomenon with its stellar cast, stunning visuals, and intriguing storytelling.

While not much is known about season two’s storyline, Comicbook reports Jenna Ortega (Scream), who plays the titled character Wednesday Addams, is very involved in the production.
“We had already been throwing out so many ideas, and I’m somebody who’s very hands-on. I want to know what’s going on,” Ortega said in an interview earlier this year, via Comicbook. “And with a character like Wednesday, who is so beloved and such a legend, I just really didn’t want to get her wrong. So, I try to have as many conversations as possible. On set, with the writers and Tim [Burton], we all would get together and decide, ‘Okay, what works and what doesn’t?’ It was naturally already very collaborative.”

Ultimately, fans of the renowned show will mark their calendars, order their copy, and relive the show. According to Comicbook, the product has already hit popular shopping websites such as Amazon and eBay. There is sure to be additional information surrounding the second season, and what it will entail.

 *Spoilers ahead for season one*

The upcoming season is sure to answer all the mysteries from the previous season, such as who sent Wednesday the photo in the end. There will surely be returning members from the first season such as Enid played by Emma Myers (Family Switch), Hunter Doohan’s (Soundwave) Tyler, and other famous characters from the show, as well as new characters.

The first season of Wednesday is available to stream on Netflix.
