Slow Burn In The Wasteland: Prime Video’s ‘Fallout’ Season Two Makes an Explosive Return With Record-Breaking Success On The Platform

The second of Prime Video’s Fallout series has return back with bang and has securred itself as the one most-watched season on the platform. According to Screenrant, Prime Video’s current watch list ranking os as follows The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power seasons one and two, Reacher seasons two and 3 three, and follow up by Fallout season one. The series has been praised for its outstanding worldbuilding, stunning visuals, and faithfulness to the source material.

The series transport the viewers in the desolate wasteland setting, while at the same time showing the struggling journey of Lucy, played by Ella Purnell (Arcane, Yellowjackets) and how she is slowly changing. Screenrant reports, 0ne of the additional factors that made the series a hit is the variety of stories being narrated. This includes the Ghoul, played by Walter Goggins (The White Lotus, Sons of Anarchy), and his vendetta against Vault-Tec. Another storyline features Maximus, played by Aaron Moten (Next, Ironwood), who seeks revenge against the Brotherhood of Steel.

After its first four weeks, Fallout S2 already ranks as the sixth most watched season ever on Prime Video and is even higher rated on Rotten Tomatoes than S1. There are only two episodes left in the season. While waiting, viewers can stream and watch the current episodes of the first and second seasons of Fallout on Prime Video. This isn’t the end, as Amazon has officially renewed the series for a third season, with production set to begin around May 2026.
