The boys are back. Deadline reported that Silicon Valley will be returning for its fourth season on April 23rd.
The series, for those not familiar with Emmy darlings, is a comedic look at the occasionally odd lives of people in the height of technology fervor. Thomas Middleditch plays the lead Richard Hendricks, who is a technical genius but a little lacking on the business savvy side. His coding team is rounded out by the comedic skills of Kumail Nanjiani and Martin Starr, and the series is centered around their struggle to get everything together and make their company a success.
So far, the series has accumulated nine Emmy nominations. Unfortunately, they haven’t yet gotten their hands around that award, but season four may just be the charm.
According to Deadline, season four continues last season’s development with the boys’ company, Pied Piper, which is now under old management (more or less). Jared (who is played by Zach Woods) and his dubious click farm scam will be discovered, and he’ll have to rush to cover up his actions. Additionally, T.J. Miller’s character Erlich and Big Head (Josh Brener) discover that they have a new tool in their arsenal.
Silicon Valley airs Sundays on HBO.
