Showtime’s ‘Your Honor,’ Starring Bryan Cranston, To Release Fifth Episode Early

Your Honor, the new drama series on the premium network Showtime that stars Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad, Malcolm in the Middle), is set to air its fifth episode ahead of schedule. The fifth episode of Your Honor will premiere on “streaming and on-demand on Thursday, December 31,” via Deadline. This will allow fans of the series to check out the new episode prior to its anticipated release at 10 PM EST on Sunday, January 3. This marks the half-way point for the ten-episode limited series. 

Your Honor is Showtime limited series that began its run on December 6 and is an adaptation from the Israeli series, Kvodo. The series centers on Cranston as Judge Michael Desiato as he navigates the balance between protecting his son and adhering to the moral code he enforces in a court of law. After his son Adam, portrayed by Hunter Doohan (Schooled), is involved in a hit-and-run accident, Cranston’s character advises him to turn himself in until he realizes that his son had inadvertently hit a local gang which leads him to attempt to cover the accident up. 

The series cast, in addition to Cranston and Doohan, includes Sofia Black-D’Elia (The Mick, The Night Of, Skins), Hope Davis (Captain America: Civil War, In Treatment), Michael Stuhlbarg (Lincoln, Arrival, Fargo), Carmen Ejogo (True Detective), and Isaiah Whitlock Jr. (The Wire). The drama program is executive produced by the likes of Robert and Michelle King (The Good Wife) and was developed for television by Peter Moffat (Undercover).
